If you’re looking to upgrade your Charlotte commute with a sleek new SUV, consider the all-new 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ! This is the first-ever electric vehicle from Cadillac, built on the powerful new Ultium battery platform and featuring a wide range of impressive specs and amenities. Whether you’re making the daily commute or taking the family on a long-distance road trip, the Cadillac LYRIQ is more than up to the challenge! The Cadillac LYRIQ range comes to 312 miles, thanks to its 100.4 kWh battery–keep in mind that this is for the rear-wheel drive model, and data for the all-wheel drive model is forthcoming.
While we don’t have the range data for the all-wheel drive Cadillac LYRIQ, we do have the estimated performance specs for both models. The rear-wheel drive model delivers 340 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque, while the all-wheel drive model delivers 500 horsepower and 5,000 pounds of towing power on the Pineville roads.
The Cadillac LYRIQ comes with a few options for recharging the battery. You can charge at home using either a standard three-prong (Level 1) outlet, or a Level 2 charging station. While a Level 2 charger does have to be installed by an electrician, it’s much faster than Level 1 and is usually the preferred method of home charging for EV drivers. Level 2 chargers generate around 52 miles of range per hour for the rear-wheel drive Cadillac LYRIQ and 37 miles of range per hour for the all-wheel drive model. If you’re on the go and need to top off your battery, you can recharge from a public fast charger, which can deliver rates of up to 76 miles of charge per hour!
